The heat exchanger was prefabricated at ACE’s headquarters in Lieboch, Austria. Its final assembly took place at the second production facility, the heavy load port in Linz.
The giant stainless-steel heat exchanger was scheduled to be taken into operation in July 2019. ACE was the preferred choice to manufacture this huge heat exchanger for the cooling process of a nitric acid production plant. “The production of critical pressure equipment made of thermal and substance-sensitive materials within a short project lead-time is one of our key strengths,” explained Markus Fuchsbichler, Managing Director ACE and Christof Group Board Member.
