Heat exchanger delivered to Trinidad.

June 13, 2019 – Enormous heat exchanger made its way to Trinidad and Tobago. With a weight of 135 tons and 53 kilometers of pipes installed, ACE Apparatebau construction & engineering GmbH secured a major contract.

The heat exchanger was prefabricated at ACE’s headquarters in Lieboch, Austria. Its final assembly took place at the second production facility, the heavy load port in Linz.

The giant stainless-steel heat exchanger was scheduled to be taken into operation in July 2019. ACE was the preferred choice to manufacture this huge heat exchanger for the cooling process of a nitric acid production plant. “The production of critical pressure equipment made of thermal and substance-sensitive materials within a short project lead-time is one of our key strengths,” explained Markus Fuchsbichler, Managing Director ACE and Christof Group Board Member.
